Our beef is pasture fed prime Hereford and Angus breeds from selected farms throughout the Wairarapa. It’s aged for 21 days for maximum flavour and tenderness. We trim, cut, grind, weigh and press on site every day, 100% beef, nothing else.
We don’t blend. Each patty is Single Origin Beef - it comes from one beast, just like a great steak. We don’t pre-season, just a good sprinkle of organic sea salt seconds before it hits the searing griddle, that’s it.
The birds are free range and the fish is sustainably sourced.
The buns’ a brioche but this one won’t collapse, fall apart and get you all mucky (well maybe just a little bit). Developed for us with our buddies: Scratch Bakers
All MEAN made sauces and garnishes are prepared on site, by hand.
All of our packaging is made from renewable resources and all biodegradable, much better for everyone.
